A safe space will be offered for therapists to reflect and explore their own personal processes and creativity using materials available within the home and\/or garden.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3 data-start=\"1353\" data-end=\"1369\"\u003eWhat is CPD?\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1371\" data-end=\"1753\"\u003eCPD, or \u003cstrong data-start=\"1379\" data-end=\"1417\"\u003eContinual Professional Development\u003c\/strong\u003e, is an ethical component of being a therapist of any kind, be it talk, art, dance \u0026amp; movement, drama, play, or music. By attending art therapy as CPD, you gain time to reflect on how it feels to make art and be creative in a therapeutic setting, therefore giving you insight into this part of your practice for the people you work with.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1755\" data-end=\"1968\"\u003eWe will take time to focus on the self, on you in your practice, and explore other helpful creative topics to support deep reflection on yourself as a therapist, all within a calm, creative, and safe environment.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1970\" data-end=\"2360\"\u003e\u003cstrong data-start=\"1970\" data-end=\"1992\"\u003eImportant to note:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr data-start=\"1992\" data-end=\"1995\"\u003eThis CPD does not offer \u003cem data-start=\"2019\" data-end=\"2029\"\u003etraining\u003c\/em\u003e in art therapy. A formal Master’s-level qualification recognised by the Irish Association of Creative Arts Therapists (IACAT) is required to safely practise as an Art Therapist in Ireland.
